A little about me: My name is Corinne (pronounced like the verb "careen" /kəˈrēn/ which means "to move swiftly and in an uncontrolled way in a specified direction" which coincidentally is often how I move through out this world). I will also respond to Birdie, Bean, Nug, and Weenie, and each of those names has a story attached to it. In your typical Piscean fashion, I am somewhat of a wanderer and am very whimsical (and sometimes it's amusing and sometimes it's not). I express myself in a myriad of ways that are in no way limited to acting, dancing, clowning, playing the accordion, making films, taking pictures, collaging, composing, writing, twisting balloon animals, and effortlessly destroying things in my wake. I want to move, to inspire, to make people laugh, and encourage them to be brave and vulnerable. And I really love children, and I don't mean that in a creepy way. A child's open spirit, curiosity, exploration through play, and authenticity is the heart of what inspires my work and who I am.
I am always looking for people with whom to collaborate and share ideas. If you want to find me, I'll most likely be furtively eating chocolate like a squirrell in some small corner of my apartment in Ridgewood. If you follow a trail of bobbypins, paper scraps, sequins, and gum wrappers, it'll most likely lead to me.
